I’m not a fan of going to places with crowds, so a concert doesn’t seem like an appropriate place, but that day I had such a good time that it’s almost fixed into my memory.
It was
January 2017, the Colectivo Cantata Rock was presented in the Museo de la
Memoria, because it was the seven anniversaries of the museum.
We arrived at the subway with my mom and her
boyfriend. There were many people, but it was not a bustling crowd, we sit on
the steps and many people sit on the floor to watch the concert. The whole
event felt such a solemn atmosphere, that it made me feel almost in a bubble,
apart from the rest of the world. They played the Cantata Santa María de
Iquique of the group Quilapayun, and a man narrated the events between the
songs.
I don’t
have pictures from that day, I remember shooting a video, but I don’t know if I
still have it.
